our story

We are a small family business based between Friuli (Northern Italy) and the Netherlands. With great passion and care, we make delicious honey in harmony with our bees and the nature that surrounds us.

“Svea Baucchi” is a dialect expression meaning “Stay awake.”
With this name, we highlight the importance of bees, nature,

and the ecological systems that connect us all.

Our bees live in the mountains and countryside of Friuli, surrounded by wild and beautiful nature.
We work in harmony with them, taking only a small part of the honey they produce. This way, we keep a healthy balance between harvesting and the wellbeing of the bees — just as our families have done for generations.

Throughout the seasons, the flowers change — and so does the honey. Each jar reflects the moment of bloom.

Acacia - Late April to May
A light, floral honey from the first gentle blossoms of spring.

Millefiori (“a thousand flowers”) – April to August
A vibrant, multifloral honey that captures the wild essence of summer.

Castagno (Chestnut) – June to July
Dark, bold, and slightly bitter – for those who like their honey with character.

Tiglio/Castagno (Linden/ Chestnut) – June to July
A unique meeting of the warm, herbal scent of linden with the strength of chestnut.

our label

We aim to work as circular as possible. That’s why every label on our honey jars is hand-cut and made from paper embedded with organic flower seeds – specially selected to grow into bee-friendly flowers.

We use all leftover label material in our own garden to nourish the bees all summer long.

Planting your label is easy:

  1. Choose a nice, sunny spot

  2. Ensure the soil is rich – or mix your own with some organic compost

  3. Place your label flat on the soil and gently spray it with water

  4. Cover it with 0.5 to 1 cm of soil

  5. Let nature work her magic – just keep the soil lightly moist

our contact

Honey is one of the oldest sweeteners in the world.
Used across cultures for centuries, it’s not just delicious — it’s a natural powerhouse of wellness. Honey contains a rich blend of enzymes, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants, making it a base for many traditional medicines.

Enzymes – phosphatase, amylase, glucose oxidase, invertase, catalase
Minerals – calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium
Antioxidants – ORAC compounds and polyphenols
Vitamins – B2, B6, and C

Honey supports the immune system, helps fight viruses, bacteria, fungi, and microbes, reduces inflammation, and promotes skin and wound healing. It also boosts your energy — naturally.

Whether in tea, on toast, or as part of your daily cooking, honey is a healthier, all-round sweetener from nature.
